Camp Brave Trails Theater Lead Petey Gibson teaches fun, empowering, interesting improv games for all levels, specifically geared towards LGBTQ youth! With an emphasis on “Yes, And” and an absolute assurance that you can get up there and use your voice, these workshops are a great way to meet other youth and develop leadership skills in the funnest way possible. At the end of our program, there will be a showcase for friends and family!
All LGBTQ+ youth and allies, ages 12-18, are welcome to join.
No experience or skills needed. Just bring a good attitude and get ready to laugh!
Improv Class will meet every Saturday from 11:00am-12:30pm from February 17-April 7.
It will all end in a showcase on April 8, 2018

Petey Gibson is a queer LA-based comedian, writer, producer, and teacher, as well as Theatre Lead and Head Counselor for the Brave Trails LGBTQ youth summer camp program. A student of both the esteemed Groundlings improv school, as well as UCB in New York, Petey also teaches and performs in local public schools through the Story Pirates, and is a volunteer and youth mentor through the LA LGBT Center.
