Arnold Pomerantz was a gift to the world, and all of us at Brave Trails feel tremendous gratitude for Arnold's generosity in coming to share his gift with our LGBTQ+ youth every summer at our leadership camp. Arnold would weave a magical story, intertwining the details of his personal life and fight for LGTBQ+ rights with the history of the movement in a way that captivated and inspired this younger generation - no small task! He was by far their favorite presenter each summer. Arnold was also a generous donor and believed strongly in the mission of Brave Trails to create a safe space and leadership training for the next generation of LGBTQ+ youth activists.
We are deeply saddened to hear of Arnold's passing. He will be missed greatly at Brave Trails as well as by everyone he touched. Brave Trails sends condolences to his friends and family, and to all who knew him.
