Explore Your Tuition & Financial Aid Options
We want LGBTQ+ youth to experience Brave Trails regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. Financial aid can cover up to 75% of tuition, and payment plans and fundraising tools are available to help families manage the cost.

What’s Included in Your Camp Experience:
Your camper’s tuition supports nine days of community, adventure, and leadership, including:
Lodging and meals: Gender-inclusive cabins, all meals, and snacks.
Activities and leadership: Camp activities, workshops, leadership projects, instruction, and supplies.
Care and support: Trained staff, an onsite health team, and a mental health professional.
Camp memories: A camp T-shirt, lanyard, and downloadable photos and videos after summer.
Brave Trails takes place at an ACA-accredited camp facility. Tuition also supports the year-round planning, staffing, and preparation that make camp possible.
Transportation is an additional cost. Our airport transportation package is $100 each way or $200 round trip. Flights and other travel expenses are not included.
Financial Aid at Brave Trails
Financial aid helps campers from households with limited financial resources attend Brave Trails. Awards consider household income, family circumstances, and available funding, and can cover up to 75% of tuition.
Apply early. Financial aid is limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, with award amounts based on demonstrated need.
Financial aid covers camp tuition only. Families are responsible for transportation, flights, and other travel expenses.
In summer 2026, Brave Trails awarded more than $200K in financial aid to help LGBTQ+ youth experience camp.
One Application for Camp and Financial Aid
Complete your camper application. The financial aid form is included in the application.
Tell us about your household’s needs. Complete the financial aid questions and submit the requested documentation.
Receive your award information. Our team will review your application and let you know your financial aid award and remaining tuition.
Need help with the deposit? A $400 deposit is required after enrollment. If that creates a financial barrier, contact info@bravetrails.org to discuss options.
